Armin Ebrahimi is Founder and CEO of ShoCard, a digital identity verification system that protects consumer privacy through patented use of mobile devices and the blockchain. An industry veteran, he brings more than 30 years of experience in scalable platforms, online services, mobile-development and digital advertising to the ShoCard team.
Before founding ShoCard, Armin was the CEO of Advertising.com Dynamic Retargeting, an AOL company. Prior to filling this role, he was Senior Vice President of Platform Engineering at Yahoo, with responsibility for Yahoo’s registration and anti-fraud platform services. He also built Yahoo’s original Display Advertising platform that served more than 20 billion transactions a day. Armin founded and was CEO of TRIicon Solutions, acquired by Tandem Computers.
Armin holds a doctorate in organizational management from Capella University, as well as Master and Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Science from California State University – Chico.
Nazem is an industry veteran and has experience with digital media, marketing, mobile, privacy and security working with a variety of consumer and technology businesses in the enterprise and SMB markets.
Currently he is responsible for all business development and marketing activities for ShoCard. He is proficient at creating new partnerships with businesses that are looking for a proactive, responsive, and reliable identity management partner.
Previously, he was Director of Enterprise Sales, at prominent adtech company Rocket Fuel that had a successful IPO in 2013. Prior to that, he was Head of National Sales at Buysight and part of the management team that led to the acquisition by AOL’s Advertising.com Group in December of 2012. Ali’s background also includes media planning, buying, and strategy at major advertising agencies including Carat, DraftFCB and J. Walter Thompson.
Ali has a B.A. degree in Liberal Studies with a minor in Marketing from San Francisco State University.
Khot is an industry veteran with 26 years of experience building highly scalable, business critical systems that process large volumes of data. Most recently he was CTO & Co-Founder of Youplus. Prior to that, he was the Chief Architect for Advertising.com Dynamic Retargeting (formerly Buysight), an AOL company. Prior to Buysight, he spent several years working on the Yahoo! display advertising platform, where he was responsible for various parts of the display ad serving platform and helped build a system that scaled up to 20 billion transactions per day. In 1999 he was the first engineer at a small startup that build one of the first web-based content management platforms from the ground-up.
Gaurav has a Bachelor of Engineering from the prestigious Pune Institute of Computer Technology, affiliated to Pune University.
Sean Bouani is responsible for leading ShoCard’s Enterprise business development. Sean brings more than 15 years of business leadership experience in the enterprise, digital media, mobile, connected TV, privacy and software sales. He is skilled at building business through the expansion of client and partner bases, generating new revenue opportunities and designing, launching and directing high-impact strategic plans that result in long-term value creation for the clients. A proven growth leader, Sean has created significant stakeholder value across multiple industries.
Previously, Bouani was VP of North America Sales at numberly, Sr. Director of Strategic Sales at Aol (bought by Verizon) and prior to that, he was Sr. Director of Strategic Sales at Buysight and part of the team that led to the acquisition by AOL’s Advertising.com Group in December of 2012. As Vice President, Americas – Professional Services and Enterprise Systems at EyeWonder, he was part of the team that led to the acquisition by Limelight Networks.

Bob is an investor in ShoCard; serves as an advisor to the CEO and is on the Board of Directors of the company as well. Bob was founding CEO of MobileIron from 2008 to 2016, leading MobileIron from an idea to become the leading publicly traded provider of mobile security for apps, content, and devices. Under his leadership, MobileIron’s team of over 900 global employees delivered market leading products, won over 10,000 enterprise customers (including over 500 of the Global 200), built a channel of over 350 resellers and 30 mobile operators, and drove over $150M/year in trailing 4Q billings. Over 8 years as CEO, Bob led venture capital fundraising of over $150M through multiple rounds culminating in a successful $100M public offering in June of 2014, and 7 quarters as a public company.
Prior to MobileIron, Bob led the Business Development team for Cisco’s wireless business unit, a combined $1B business. Before Cisco, Bob was the first business executive at enterprise wireless pioneer Airespace. Cisco acquired Airespace in 2005 for $450M.
Tinker has a BS in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Stanford.
Naveen Agarwal serves on the technical advisory board for ShoCard. Naveen is currently the lead for Federated Identity team at Google where he is experienced with both enterprise and consumer identification and has been architecting technical solutions to deal with security and fraud, as well as enhanced user experience while contributing to the industry standards around OpenID Connect, OAuth2 and Fido. Prior to that, Agarwal served as the Director of Engineering at Yahoo where he lead Yahoo’s identity management system as well as premium services.
Agarwal has an MS degree and was a Doctoral Candidate in Computer Science from Rutgers University and has a BE in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Pilani.
Michael is an Advisor to the CEO and leadership team of ShoCard. From startups to public companies, Michael has helped build and scale technology companies for more than 20 years. As SVP Worldwide Field Operations at Lookout, he helped drive the transition to become an enterprise cybersecurity leader in addition to the original consumer business. He designed and built a global sales and support organization across the Americas, US Federal Gov’t, EMEA, and APAC in a direct-touch, 2-tier model that delivered triple-digit bookings growth. Michael built go-to-market partnerships and led the creation of a new product platform and mobile security products. Before Lookout, he served as VP, Platform at DeNA, a $4Bn public mobile game company where he was responsible for product, engineering, analytics, developer services, and partnerships. He led teams in the US, Japan, China and the Netherlands as the platform grew to $200M+ run-rate in 12 months. Michael came to DeNA through the acquisition of social game maker Lionside, where he was a co-founding executive. Prior to DeNA, Michael led worldwide sales at Meraki (Acquired by Cisco for $1.2Bn). At Good Technology he led national sales after his role as a product leader where he delivered the product that grew to over 11,000 enterprise customers and accounted for over 90% of Good’s sales. Early in his career, Michael was part of the leadership teams at StarCode Software and at operating system pioneer Be, Inc.
Michael holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
